Q:  WHERE DOES MY CHILD GO WHEN (S)HE ARRIVES?
A:  You and your child should enter through the high school and report to the cafeteria to check in for each session. Your child will receive a name tag and wait with our coaching staff/other campers before we get warmed up.

Q:  WHERE DO I PICK MY CHILD UP AFTER (S)HE IS FINISHED WITH THEIR SESSION?
A:  As stated above with drop off, you can come into the cafeteria to check out your son or daughter when they have finished their session.

Q:  WHY DO YOU HAVE THE CHILDREN WEAR NAME TAGS EVERY DAY?
A:  Name tags allow for all staff members to get to know each camper, and for the other athletes to remember one another.  Not only is it important to know the campers name, but also when they are in a session and do something great, it's important to recognize them by name "That's a great job on the explosive box jump, Kevin" compared to "That's a great job on the explosive box jump kid wearing the blue and white striped shirt".

Q:  WHAT IF MY CHILD HAS NEVER PLAYED ANY ORGANIZED SPORTS, WILL THEY STILL BE ABLE TO ATTEND?

A:  Yes, they absolutely will be able to attend.  As mentioned in other areas on the website, this is a camp designed to help student athletes with proper form and performing different strength & athletic activities in a safe and correct way.  518 NEXT LEVEL Strength & Conditioning Camp is a positive environment that has boys and girls of all ages and all abilities.  Our goal is to help teach them all of the important aspects of being an athlete on and off the field.

Q:  WHAT IF THERE IS AN EMERGENCY WHILE MY SON OR DAUGHTER IS AT CAMP?
A:  There will be a staff member certified in First Aid, CPR and AED present at all times.  If an emergency were to happen, we would act appropriately and contact you as soon as possible.

Q:  WHY ARE THERE TWO SEPARATE AGE GROUPS?
A:  Two separate age groups allow us to tailor activities and programs to age-appropriate levels.  We also believe the shortened day for the younger group allows the campers to learn without being overwhelmed, and helps to prepare them for the next stage of camp.

Q:  DO YOU RUN YOUR 3RD-5TH GRADES SESSIONS THE SAME AS THE 6TH-12TH SESSIONS?
A:  Both age groups have similarities in how they are run.  They are safe, focus on proper technique, the are interactive, fun, and enjoyable.  The 6th-12th grade sessions will have a little more challenge and some different activities compared to the younger group.

Q:  WHY DO THE STUDENT ATHLETES NEED TO BRING A PACKED LUNCH OR SNACK? ARE THEY ABLE TO BUY ANY FOOD AT THE CAMP?
A:  A packed lunch or snack is recommended due to not having access to a refrigerator.  Campers will have time to eat their lunch/snack in between the morning and afternoon sessions. Student athletes will not be able to buy any food or drinks at the camp, as no concessions will be offered.

Q:  WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS?

A:  The camp will go on rain or shine.  We have plenty of indoor space available consisting of gyms, a fitness center, a wrestling room, pool and a cafeteria.  When the weather is cooperating, we will be utilizing the practice fields in the back of the school for different portions of the camp.
